    FOR YOUR EYES ONLY is the fourth and the last stop about our journey of #fashion #trends FW23/24 through the history of cinema. This film takes us to relive the fashion of the early 1980s in a casual chic form to be chic in any situation, even in the snow, in which every detail is chosen through a maniacal research. The color chart of ranges from the warm tones of brown and oranges, combined with navy blue with details of a full bodied metallic. The shapes are comfortable but never mundane, designed with non-traditional openings and creative gathers but always soft and roomy. The search for #materials is extensive; the context represents late winter in which velvet, teddy and nabuk are the protagonists. Metallic minutiae are minimal, not noticeable, instead handcrafted coarse thread stitching stand out. Wool also becomes the protagonist of this theme, colored but above all woven creating new and three-dimensional textures. Cold winter has never been so warm in style!     Stop number three: "THE GARDEN OF THE FINZI-CONTINIS", an elitist setting in a dramatic historical period. Details and color matches stolen from the sport, refined two-tone colors on rigorous shapes, the great return of the bowling #bag, detailed by ribbon or worked shoulder straps. Smooth, semi-opaque calfskins with crushed grain, in bright colors and ultra-soft lambskin tassels, with #textures from glove and clothing. Most innovative are the treatments, bleached, washed and removed with vintage effect. The shapes return larger and more important for daily use, without losing the feminine and refined allure that breathed in this film. The clean shapes of the bags are also enriched by external pockets, to enliven the linear surfaces but and give new functionality. Soft constructions sewn and turned or piped in contrasting patterns. Also all the quilted, made with the light tassels, the padded even macro and the important but light and unstructured volumes are relevant features for this theme. The colors also walk this path: a not too dark blue, a nature green, a black and then three naturals to lighten the palette a light gray, a refined taupe and an off white, an elegant powder pink is juxtaposed with a deep, dark red.     The "LEGEND OF 1900" is the second stop to discover the new FW23/24 #fashion trends: functionality and never shouted elegance is definitely the asset of this theme and the materials as well as the colors represent it. Metal #accessories not only aesthetic but functionals: buckles, loops, fasteners, also used with mixes of galvanics, zippers, though with the product, also become detail in their primary function. #Leather and calfskin for the #bags finishes made with jacquard fabrics and low-contrast logomanies. Leather along calfskins with some micro-grains and light buffing to give them more depth and natural aspects while presenting strong technical characteristics. There are also some suede and nabuck with no grain. Also on big, functional and everyday bags, we find refined details: straps, shoulder straps, double handles for double wearability and function, combined with small and multiple containers to give a sense of freedom and practicality. Longside the important, everyday volumes also small bags with unusual proportions, elongated half moons, horizontal baguettes, small vertical shoppers. The colors also follow this path: a blue green reminiscent of the deep color of the ocean, combined with a dusty gray green, very refined, one blander and one darker, reminiscent of the color of velvets. Then the three naturals that match with the other colors, a tobacco, an ivory and a camel. The galvanics in this theme are brass, a brushed gold, and touches of steel. THE LEGEND OF 1900 contains the metaphor of man’s existence and fears: the unknown, the indefinite and the anxiety of facing an uncertain future, in this case the new millennium.     Let’s start to discover the first FW23/24 leather goods #fashion trends: THE GREAT BEAUTY! This is the most glitzy and fun theme where colorful furs and fake furs, sequins, showers of rhinestones, and precious embroidery are the real stars, objects of desire to be proudly displayed, for a newfound pleasure of appearance. Metallics in all shades and #materials, both fabrics and leathers are other important protagonists, especially on the uneven-grained wavy surfaces; many iridescent and shaded effects, even in python. Varnishes, both smooth and with grains with underglazed effects, are also present, along with smooth and palmellato calfskins in full, strong colors. Alligator and coconut prints are the primary textures of this theme. The color #palette consists of bright shades such as fuchsia, wisteria and poppy, combined with dark purple and tobacco, brightened more by cedar and ivory. Prominent chains and flashy metals such as gold details and clasps, with mixes of electroplating. Shapes are constructed and contained in volumes, sometimes shaped like a casket to hold small precious objects. THE GREAT BEAUTY, By Paolo Sorrentino, is a labyrinthine #film that tells the story of Jep Gabardella, a disillusioned lifestyle journalist and successful man, who celebrates his 65th birthday with a big party, where the partygoers seem a parody of themselves, focused on a continuous desire for carefree overlooking the terraces of the magnificent ROME of the 2000s.
